About the owners

David

“We have been in France for nearly 17 years – our children grew up here and we are very much a part of our local village. We love where we live and to show our guests our little corner of paradise.”

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Try the family-friendly destination, the Aquarium du Périgord Noir, not only home to more than 6000 fish but also jungle golf, a mirror maze and ‘Big Bird’, Europe’s tallest climbing frame.

  • You can’t miss the imposing Château de Biron, just a seven minute drive from the gîtes and towering over the surrounding countryside; the views from here are worth the visit alone.

  • This part of France is awash with imposing castles, and the Château de Bonaguil is one of its finest, with plenty for both kids and adults to enjoy exploring.

  • Handily located in the village itself, Parc en Ciel offers loads of great activities including tree climbing, mini golf and a fantastic pool.

  • On a hot day, head to Walibi Sud-Ouest, home to both a water park and a theme park.
