Joanna has her own children - she knows what you'll need and she has supplied it. That means that the living space isn't cluttered with precious things but interesting bits to admire. The play area at the far end of said living space is perfect to keep the kids occupied in role play, while someone gets on with the real cooking at the other end. As for the happy space in the middle, that is for you all to congregate and chill together.
With toys and books aplenty - in the lounge and the children's bedroom - there is enough to keep them merrily occupied - a handy sofa bed in the kids' bedroom is ideal (if you don't have additional guests!) for those early morning wake-ups where you might just doze, while they play 'in sight'.
Movie nights are a doddle as a projector is set up and ready to go - what could be more cosy than lights out, popcorn buckets at the ready, woodburner stoked ready for Woody or Elsa or a mermaid singing!
