We were welcomed by very efficient, friendly front of house. The children were immediately at ease and were drawn to the resident dog, Forest, the cockapoo. In summary, an extremely child friendly hotel with very happy helpful staff in one of the most amazing child friendly landscapes. I highly recommend it.

Rooms

Open your curtains and enjoy views across the unspoiled heathland of the New Forest. The 25 bedrooms all reflect New Park Manor’s historical setting and modern, relaxed atmosphere. Bedrooms are all individually styled, ranging from traditionally decorated family suites to super-contemporary interconnecting rooms. All rooms have a TV and DVD player, bathrobes for adults and plenty of space.

Eat

Flexible family friendly menus and fresh, local produce make dining a delight at New Park Manor. Breakfast and lunch are informal and relaxed, with carefully planned menus to please children and adults. Light bites, traditional English and European cuisine and afternoon tea are all on offer throughout the day.

There’s no need to keep hungry tummies waiting for dinner, as high tea is served for children at 5pm. Once the smaller ones are tucked up in bed, The Stag restaurant offers delicious fine dining in an elegant atmosphere.

Activities

New Park Manor is set up to keep everyone happy and entertained. Toddlers and children up to eight years old can enjoy a complimentary two hour session in The Den creche for every day of your stay, where they can explore toys, games and fun activities. Older children and teens can escape to the Cinema Room: a separate chill-out zone with activities such as table football, board games and reading books.

For family fun, why not hire some bikes on-site (and wagons if needed) and explore the beautiful New Forest, which is on your doorstep. Or stay within the hotel grounds and have a bounce on the trampoline, try a spot of croquet or splash in the indoor or outdoor swimming pool. Teens are also welcome to try the spa facilities for a special treat.

By car, New Park Manor is located on the A337, eight miles south of Junction 1 on the M27 and 95 miles from London.

By Air

New Park Manor is 16 and 18 miles from Bournemouth and Southampton International Airports, and 90 and 125 miles from London Heathrow and Gatwick. There is also a helipad on site.

By Rail

New Park Manor is 90 minutes from London Waterloo to Brockenhurst (five minutes from the hotel).

New Park Manor is a few miles south of Lyndhurst – a perennially popular tourist location with quaint shops, galleries, restaurants and traditional pubs.
There are plenty of attractions in the area to fascinate the whole family, such as Marwell Zoo and the popular Paulton Family Theme Park - home to Peppa Pig World.
For the bucket-and-spade (and boogie board) brigade, there are plenty of beaches nearby, including the shingly beaches at Lepe and Milford-on-Sea which has cafés, play parks for little ones, and toilets.
As soon as you strike out from the grounds, the huge skyscapes, wooded glades and sandy heathland stretch out before you – all the way to the coast, a mere seven miles away.
Visit the New Forest if you’re a fan of cycling and walking – it’s covered in a network of fairly level trails, tracks and footpaths that are ideal for family rambles.Our helpful staff will advise you on the best routes for you and your little ones, and guide you towards the nearest places to hire bikes.
