Point Farm is a family run campsite run by husband and wife team Nia and Fil, with their two children. A truly tiny hideaway it is a small but perfectly formed campsite in an idyllic coastal spot. It's a stone's throw away from the sea, although it may not be in your field of vision from beside your pitch, you may well hear the waves gentle lapping on the shores. From the top of the site you can glimpse the Blue Flag waters of Dale Bay in this tranquil corner of Wales.
One of Nia and Fil's aims is to help families connect back with nature and to learn about the biodiversity around the site with bird boxes and identity cards, wildlife books to borrow and sharing their knowledge of the local environment. In 2015 Point Farm became one of the first campsites in Wales to be awarded the Green Key environmental standard award in recognition of the owner’s approach to environmental management and green credentials
Perfect for campers who like a bit more comfort and the luxury of bowling up to fully equipped glamping home the Shpeherd's huts have everything you need to enjoy camping, with a twist of luxury.
Memory foam mattresses and luxury bedding ensure a cosy and comfortable night's sleep. Remember to take along your own towels. The per night charge includes bedding for the Kingsize bed - other bedding should be hired as required.
Both sleeping four, the Shepher'd Huts are handcrafted to a very high standard with aluminum double glazing and full insultation. Both have private outside space and a seperate outside covered kitchen area fully equipped - including utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots & pans and a cafetiere. A gas hob makes cookign quick and easy and running hot and cold water makes light work of washing up! You have a fridge with a freezer compartment to store food and an inside bench seating and table to eat it!
The private patio area with seating and table, along with a Dancook 9000 firepit and a BBQ with logs means alfresco dining and toasting marshmallows is a must.
Each Shepherd's Hut has a slightly different layout internally.
