Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Enjoy a fabulous day exploring the gardens at RHS Rosemoor - one of the best in Europe just 10 minutes from the cottage.

  • A great rainy day location is Quince Honey Farm where you can explore the bee exhibition and let off steam in the soft play area.

  • The Big Sheep is a great day out suitable for all ages, with rides, animal barn, on-site brewery and gin distillery.

  • Appledore is a beautiful place to enjoy the beach, go crabbing or take the ferry across to Instow.

  • Race, slide, and chase each other around the inflatable aquapark, or try wakeboarding, paddleboarding, and ringo rides at North Devon Wake Park.
