About the owners

Jo and Shaun

We love this place so much we gave up our jobs and moved our family to set up Sloeberry Farm on the beautiful west coast of Wales so more people could discover the area.  Our farm is tiny with a couple of cottages, a few cabins and lodges scattered across the meadows for those that fancy something a little different.

Lots of people have helped us along the way bringing Sloeberry Farm to life, you know who you are and will forever have our thanks.

Owner recommendations

  • Hit the waves and try your hand at Paddleboarding at Aberporth Bay - it’s Sloeberry Farm’s local beach and is just a five-minute drive away!

  • Discover the history of Cardigan by booking on a tour with a local guide where you’ll learn stories of the town’s iconic architecture and culture.

  • Head to the Teifi River gorge and roll across gentle rapids spotting local wildlife on a canoe trip.

  • Book onto a boat trip to Cardigan Island and explore and see if you can spot the resident bottlenose dolphins - they often pop up to say hello!

  • Discover what it was like to live in the Iron Age at Castell Henllys, Britain’s only reconstructed Iron Age Village.
