Upper Vobster boasts a beautiful selection of boutique self-catering cottages and apartments, sleeping from two up to six guests. The four- and five-star properties, set within 55 acres of landscaped gardens, are tastefully furnished with uncluttered interiors – perfect for guests with wandering toddlers. Underfloor heating will keep you all cosy throughout the year, Smart TVs will keep you entertained on rainy afternoons, whilst dedicated WiFi will keep you connected to the outside world, if you so desire. Families of five or six will enjoy Lavender Cottage, an end-of-terrace cottage with a toasty wood-burning stove, and a large south-facing kitchen dining room. Sleep soundly in one of the three serene king size double bedrooms.
For families of four, take your pick between the charming Rosemary and Courtyard Cottages. Rosemary Cottage has two airy double bedrooms and a fabulous private terrace, complete with barbecue. A wood-burning stove keeps the living room warm in the winter months. Courtyard Cottage is split over two levels, with the living room up in the eaves of the sensitively-renovated building. The first floor height means you’ll benefit from brilliant views over the farm and Somerset beyond. There is one ensuite king size double on each floor, with the flexibility to be used as twin rooms if required. Valley View is a studio apartment with a spacious family bedroom comprising a super king double and a single bed, which can be arranged as three single beds. As the name suggests, you’ll find great views of Somerset in the combined bedroom dining room. There is a seperate kitchen. For grandparents joining in the holiday but wanting some peace and privacy of their own, the studio apartments The Dovecote and The Dairy are great options. For upmost flexibility, in all the cottages (except Rosemary) super king beds can be made into two singles. Infant equipment is also available free of charge, making these lovely one-bed properties an ideal fit for new parents too.
