Wowo has 20 glamping units on site offering five different types of accommodation for a special family stay. All of the glampsites have their own campfires, picnic benches, and outdoor seating for wholesome evening gatherings around the fire.
Yurts
Wowo’s hand-crafted yurts are fleece/wool lined for cosy winters or cool summers and have wood stoves to keep warm in the evenings. The Alice Yurt is an Alice in Wonderland-inspired glamping hut for a story-worthy stay nestled in the Lower Brook field by the rippling stream for complete calm. It sleeps up to five people between one double bed, a single bed, and a double sofa bed. The Little Owl Yurt sleeps five too and is tucked away up-stream in the Tipi Trail woodland for the ultimate forest retreat. For big families, the Woodland Yurt is Wowo’s largest and can sleep up to seven guests. It’s also set in the Tipi Trail woodland and has a unique built-in glass sky light so you can stargaze and watch the woodland world go by. For a more intimate family stay, the Hobbit Yurt is the smallest of the bunch ideal for a family of four with younger children. Surrounded by woodland and right by the brook, it’s the perfect little nest for your first family glamping getaway!
Geodomes
Cherry Tree is a 7m geodome set within the Tipi Trail woodland with insulation and a wood burner ideal for glamping all year round. With a panoramic front window and a stargazer, the dome will have you feeling in the midst of nature but with the comfort of a four-poster double bed, bunk bed, and double sofa bed sleeping up to six people. There are also four Grassy Geodomes set on the Grassy field each with their own large fenced pitch. Lime, Willow, Maple, and Hazel sleep between six and seven people and offer lovely views across the field with the option of curtains for privacy.
Lotus Bell Tents
The perfect transition between camping and glamping, these lotus-flower shaped tents have wooden floors so you’re a step above the throw-up tent life. The Grassy Bell Tents have their own fenced pitch in the Grassy field and can sleep two adults and three children. If you have a bunch of family friends wanting to join your trip, why not book all four Grassy Bell Tents for a group stay with a little bit of privacy between each pitch? The Lower Moat and Lower Brook Bell Tents are huge 6m stargazer tents that can accommodate larger families.
Shepherds Huts
There are three Shepherds Huts at Wowo: Stepping Stones, Bluebell, and Brookside. The latter two are twin huts with a Scandinavian feel sleeping up to five adults or two adults and three kids between a fun three-tier bunk and a double futon sofa bed. Brookside also has an ensuite toilet, electric lights, and power for the ultimate home comforts and lies under the canopy of woodland glade on the Tipi Trail neighboured by Bluebell. Stepping Stones was Wowo’s first addition to the campsite and sleeps two adults and two little ones in a snug 19th century style hut.
Wagons
The Gypsy Wagon has been lovingly preserved from its travelling history and offers an old-fashioned glamping experience. It’s ideal for smaller families and can sleep two adults and one child between a double pull-out bed and a child’s bunk beneath.
Clarabella the Family Wagon was formerly a horse-drawn van and is likely the only one of its kind! Sleeping two adults and three children and sits on its own grassy, fenced pitch with an outdoor seating area.
