Cardinham is known for 650 acres of woodlands, packed full of cycling and walking trails. It is worth noting that there are some steep bits, so younger children beware. Liskeard

Relax in the old market town of Liskeard, known for its mix of medieval, Edwardian and Victorian buildings. It’s a lovely place to stop off at, why not try the many quaint coffee shops? Climbing frames, England’s largest zip wire, tropical gardens and much more; it’s a day out for the whole family.

Seal Life

Visit the Seals. The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a treat based in Gweek (near to The Green, cottage) where you can see them being fed, find out the important conservation work the centre does and even meet the seal pups. All together now “Aww!”.

West Country Surf School

Three miles down the road from Newquay, is beautiful Watergate Bay which consists of two miles of sandy beach that is home to a brother and sister owned surfing school. Enormous waves from the Atlantic Ocean make this bay a popular spot for surfing for all of the family to enjoy. They’ll even have a hot chocolate ready for you after your lesson!
