Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect when you book a few days here as part of your child friendly holidays Cornwall.

Add a touch of history to your holiday by checking out the National Maritime Museum. ‘Viking Voyagers’ opens on the 20th March 2015 and features historically significant artefacts. The kids will love your family breaks Cornwall, as there will also be a full scale replica of a 14m coastal cargo Viking ship from the 11th century. Climb aboard and discover what it was like to be a Viking!

Bring sunshine and colour to your family getaway and discover the Dawn French Installation. As the new Chancellor of Falmouth University, Dawn French has set up a ‘Paint the Town Yellow Day’ which is a beautiful and celebratory procession to kick off the Spring season where schoolchildren and university students alike will give out daffodils to passers-by, decorating the town in flowers. This event is guaranteed to bring a smile to all family members as part of your child friendly holidays Cornwall.

On top of all this, there are free games on The Moor where you and the kids can get involved in Giant connect 4, Quoits, Giant Jenga and swing ball, to name a few. The Art Gallery will be running child friendly workshops and treasure hunts too.

Adults will enjoy the music as a range of bands play as part of the festival, all washed down with 50 ciders from across the West Country!

There is something for all ages here and it’s just one more reason why we love family friendly holidays Cornwall.
