What a fabulous day out this Summer - the Horniman's sixteen acres of gardens have just re-opened following a huge redevelopment. So not only can you visit the museum and all its fascinating exhibits, including an aquarium, but now you can also spend time in the gardens which are such a treat. There's a world food garden, a renovated bandstand, an animal enclosure and wonderful sound gardens where families can come and play all the instruments. There are a wide range of free theatre and music concerts taking place over the summer - there's something on every day of the holidays! The Horniman is a great choice to visit if you're in London.
