Home to BBC Springwatch, Pensthorpe is a stunning place to visit to explore wildlife and the outdoors.
Families can choose from a wide range of fun hands-on activities, from feeding the birds to pond dipping to using activity booklets to explore the reserve and identify birds, insects and animals.
Become 'bug detectives' and embark on the Bug Walk where you will see lots of creepy crawlies! And learn all about nature on the Wildlife Tracker Trail.
There are also three beautiful gardens to enjoy.
The picture of the yellow Land Rover above shows the Wensum Discovery Tour which takes place four times a day. Guides take you to see the hidden treasures of Pensthorpe, looking at its history and the current farming and conservation work.
Pensthorpe takes its role very in conservation very seriously, supporting a wide range of conservation activities, and addressing the particular problems faced by a number of endangered and vulnerable species. The Pensthorpe Conservation Trust (PCT) has assisted red squirrels, corncrakes, cranes and other rare birds.
Throughout Summer 2012 there will be extra activities and nature-themed games for all the family included in the normal admission price!
