This great little award-winning Museum is aimed at 6 – 12 year olds and their families. Situated in the village where Roald Dahl lived and wrote for 36 years, the Museum was created as a home for the author’s unique archive. There are two fun and fact-packed biographical galleries and a fantabulous interactive Story Centre that inspires creativity.
In the school holidays and at weekends we run an exciting range of workshops, events and free storytelling sessions. Free craft activities are always on offer, while our self-guided Village and Countryside Trails lead you around Great Missenden to see some of the places which inspired the stories.
Café Twit serves a delumptious family-friendly range of home-made food. Our shop is a treasure-trove of books, toys, gifts and pocket-money items. You can also visit our online shop at www.roalddahlstore.com
