Festival Number 6
Portmeirion is a unique and magical site, offering nature and eccentricity in equal measures. It perfectly reflects Festival 6's vision of an intimate boutique music and arts festival, sculpted for those who enjoy life's finer things. A festival which is a scene but not a herd, which explores and embraces individual expression and offers you the chance to put reality on hold for a few days. Lose yourself in your own fairytale in the iconic setting where 'The Prisoner' was filmed. Bring your own tent, or choose to stay in one of our boutique yurts, tipis or bell tents. Treat yourself to staying in the village itself, either in the castle or in one of the individual gatehouses, towers or cottages, each with their own unique character.
The event, which takes place in Portmeirion, will see The The, Franz Ferdinand and Hot Friendly Fires top the bill.
The festival takes place in September and offers a range of accommodation from general camping to cottages.
Portmeirion was built by architect Sir Clough William-Ellis and is now protected by a registered charity.
The festival was named after the cult 1960s TV series shot there, The Prisoner.
Boutique camping is now available for this year's No.6 for those wanting a little luxury for the weekend. You can choose from Yurts, Bell Tents, Tipis or Lotus Belles, and wherever you sleep you'll wake to stunning views of Snowdonia and the picturesque River Dwyryd Estuary.
