2017 will see the 8th annual Just So Festival, widely hailed as a cultural highlight of the summer. The festival, which takes place each August, offers a weekend of fantastical performances and incredible journeys of the imagination, providing three days of music, art, theatre and dance in the most spellbinding outdoor landscape.
Set in the grounds of one of Cheshire’s most charming estates, this beautifully curated event has carved a name for itself by offering something unique amongst the plethora of weekend music festivals across the UK – it stands alone in being exclusively for families with no over indulging teenagers or hedonistic twenty somethings.
Co-Director Sarah Bird says, “Time has flown since the first Just So Festival in 2010, we’re thrilled that the event has captured families’ imaginations and we’re incredibly excited about our 6th birthday celebrations, we’re going all out to give families their most marvellous adventure yet…The programme in 2017 will be a sumptuous feast of the curious, eccentric and awe-inspiring.”
Just So Festival asks you to throw away your inhibitions and immerse yourselves in a world of pillow fights, midnight feasts, campfires, jiving and acrobats. With the help of Arts Council England in 2017 the festival will support the creation of spectacular new performances for families, giving festival-goers the opportunity to experience the very best in high quality arts programming outdoors.
