Escape the pressures of modern life and get outdoors with the kids, taking in nature’s sights, sounds and smells - above all else, have fun! Real Family Holidays offer exceptional value for money, with the following included in all stays:

To keep things simple, the cost per person per night is £30.00. So a week’s holiday for a family of four will cost £840 (£756 with the pembs10 discount). For an all-inclusive family activity holiday in the school holidays, we hope that families will find it to be a very affordable option. We also don't charge for under three year olds (age when arriving on your holiday).

Pembrokeshire is the perfect place for a family holiday with a wide range of attractions close by and some of the best beaches in Wales and the UK.

Dale Fort is about as close to the sea as you can get with a short walk down to the rocky coastline. You can enjoy spectacular sea views from high points of the Centre. With indoor common rooms and a bar to relax in this location is a great base for families to explore Pembrokeshire, Wales. It also has its own boat for trips for getting out onto the water.

We have simple, comfortable accommodation mostly in a mixture of twin/3-bedded rooms and dormitory style rooms. Toilet and shower facilities are close by. Dale Fort has a quiet lounge for visiting adults equipped with a TV, DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a common room for children with pool table, board games, TV and DVD player, and area for making hot and cold drinks.

  • Dale Fort

    Dale Fort is a converted Victorian Military Fort situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales. It is surrounded by the sea, in a spectacular cliff-top setting overlooking Milford Haven waterway. The Centre provides an ideal base for exploring the stunning scenery of the National Park including the famous bird-islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm. So don’t forget to bring your binoculars on holiday with you! The Centre is a few minutes’ walk away from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with access to beautiful beaches and lovely scenery.

    Dale village is a 15 minute walk from the centre and has a beach, cafe, watersports centre and a pub with an award-winning fish restaurant.

  • Newgale Beach

    A magnificent two mile long stretch of wide flat sand with a huge pebble bank behind it. The sand does disappear at high tide, but at low tide it's fabulous for sporty types - Newgale is one of Pembrokeshire's top three surfing locations and attracts surfers, kayakers, wind surfers and kite surfers. There are two cafes, one at each end of the beach

  • St David’s

    This is the smallest city in the UK! Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral, St David’s is in reality a small attractive village with two of the best ice-cream shops in Wales. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery and is renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife. Whitesands Beach and trips to Ramsey Island are close by.

  • Marloes Sands

    A huge expanse of sand at low tide with rocks and interesting cliff formations. Rockpools can be found at the western end of the beach. Scenes from the Hollywood film "Snow White and the Huntsman" - featuring Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart - were shot here in September 2011.

  • Skomer Island

    Skomer is a haven for wildlife and is most well known for its puffins. It’s only a 15 minute drive from the Centre to the embarkation point for the island. Skomer, with its sister island Skokholm, is surrounded by some of the richest waters off the British Isles. The seas are full of fantastic wildlife, from delightfully coloured sea slugs to magnificent cetaceans.

  • Scolton Manor Museum and Country Park

    This Victorian manor house, museum and award winning visitor centre are set in 60 acres of Country Park and woodland, and include Period rooms, railway displays, farming exhibition, costume, stable/rural crafts, art exhibitions and World War II home front exhibition. Don’t miss the picnic and play areas, shop and tearoom.

  • The Blue Lagoon Waterpark

    Great fun for all family members whatever the weather. This indoor waterpark features crashing waves, a rapids river ride and two enclosed flume rides that venture outside the building and bring you hurtling back into the pool. There is a lazy river ride, indoor and outdoor spa pools with sunbathing deck, and interactive wet play areas including a full size pirate ship and an indoor beach for little ones! There are loungers, patios, observation decks and warm, balmy temperatures. The site also has a cafe and shop.
