Family Holidays Isle of Wight

Fancy experiencing island life...? No not a deserted island but the Isle of Wight which has fantastic attractions and activities for families. A ferry crossing to The Isle of Wight takes under an hour and is an excitable beginning to any child’s holiday. The Isle of Wight renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, has been a popular holiday destination since the Victorian times with its world famous sailing based at Cowes. There is so much on the island for families to visit. Dinosaur Isle is superb with many fossils and life sized exhibitions of dinosaurs found on the island. Blackgang Chine Park found on the SW side of the Island is an eccentric mix of exciting rides, goblins and fairies, dinosaurs, nursery rhyme characters, cowboys and Indians all set within rambling Victorian gardens and designed to appeal to the child in us all. Carisbrooke Castle is a Norman castle in the centre of the Island with battlements, a keep to climb and a museum to explore.  All of this combined with trips to Robin Hill, Sandown beach, the steam railway and much more means you will have a memorable family holiday on the Isle of Wight.
