What makes a great family skiing holiday?
Whether it’s helping you get enough basic baby supplies, or ensuring your children get the level of ski lessons and attention they require. Ski Lessons & Ski Gardens
Children from the age of 3 or 4 can learn to ski. Alpine Elements organise ski gardens for the very young, and ski lessons with our specially selected ski schools. The focus is on fun and group lessons, normally for 8 children, offer a very sociable and entertaining environment for kids to enjoy learning to ski. Lessons are for half or full days, and can include lunch, allowing you to ski all day safe in the knowledge your children are being well cared for.
Alpine Elements find that operating on a Sunday to Sunday basis greatly reduces transfer times and airport delays thus making it easier on you and your family. You can be at most of the resorts within only 3 hours of departing Geneva.
Grown Up Time Away
The importance of "grown-up" time away from the kids is also a nice option for parents to have and so daytime creche facilities can be arranged to give you unhindered mountain-time during your family holiday. All baby facilities including creche facilities and children’s ski clubs will have to be pre-arranged.
Infants and toddlers
A ski holiday is fun for all your family, no matter how young you are, and young babies can have a fantastic experience. Most of the resorts have crèche or kindergarten facilities, or you may choose to use the private nanny service. Infants (under 24 mths) can travel from just £100 (£150 peak) to include a baby pack with cot and high chair.
