About Bosinver Farm
Bosinver has a ream of lovely child-friendly cottages on offer to meet the demands of the largest of family holiday gatherings! Visit the animals, hit the play areas or indoor pool, stroll to the pub, unwind - Bosinver is a haven!
Supremely child friendly cottages. To visit Bosinver is a little like going back in time. It’s quiet, feels very secure and has a sedate village atmosphere. Yet all of the fabulous child-friendly cottages are furnished and decorated with aplomb to the very highest standards, some traditional, others more contemporary; all are so very well equipped and designed that you’ll thank Pat from the bottom of your heart!
Winner of Award for Excellence Family Friendly Accommodation’ Visit England 2017 - Winner of Visit England's Gold award for the best self-catering in England 2015 and with outstanding guest reviews, Bosinver is a must for those who want to stay in Cornwall. Bosinver will remind you of all the lovely simple things in life that there are to be appreciated; you won't not wind down. In fact, whatever you might imagine a country cottage to be you will undoubtedly find it in one of Bosinver's 20 detached cottages. Yes 20 (I did mention the word village) but all have fabulous views, all have use of the fantastic facilities and with 30 glorious acres to explore you are not going to be vying for space. There's now even a luxurious eco-cottage called Lowen (Cornish for ‘happy') , complete with its own hot tub.
Each cottage sits amongst mature woodland gardens that have been chosen to provide interest all year round. Each has it's own private space; none are overlooked. All enjoy the fabulous surroundings and amenities offered in this lovely setting.
There are walks to enjoy and combined with a wild animal trail complete with statues of the real things (and prizes for finding them all) you will all be entertained.
Alternatively, there's the tennis court, indoor swimming pool, games room, sauna, children's play room, adventure playground, fishing lake, outdoor toddler play area or the gym, not forgetting the animals to feed, eggs to find and ponies to enjoy. Then there's the most almighty hill to race or roll down to get to the zip wire. There is also a very pleasant and easy stroll of 15 minutes to the village shop - or local pub that incidentally is award winning, offers excellent food and caters for children!
Indoors the cottages have all you may want - from baby crockery, baby monitors, high chairs and cots to safety equipment such as plug covers and stair gates. Each cottage has its own DVD player (a selection of DVDs are available to borrow) and a toy-box. And as mentioned all are so very comfortably and tastefully finished - you'll want to stay! A laundry room (always a necessity for our family) is on site with commercial washers and driers. It also provides an area to store your bikes. Every cottage has wifi and there is also an internet room if you don't want to take your laptop.
Should you want some time out, babysitting can be arranged. There are several restaurants and pubs to try, all documented by Pat to make your life easier. If you would prefer to stay at home you might order in some freshly frozen meals that you can just pop in the oven and relax and wait for it to heat with a glass of wine.
A quote from the Visitor's Book goes like this; "Bosinver's 30 acres of woods and meadows offer visitors room to stretch their eyes and legs in a beautiful rural environment". You get chickens and ducks calling at the front door to play and enough space for the kids to roam freely and just be - something difficult to establish in many busy towns. Bosinver will be a good place for you all - go and be regenerated.
