About Flamenco Campers

Flamenco Campers offer beautifully cool and customised campervans for you to embark on a family adventure of a lifetime, exploring amazing and diverse Andalucia in a fully-equipped campervan.

Flamenco campers was born out of Gonzalo and Carolina’s passion for the freedom of a campervan holiday, and their enthusiasm is evident in the wealth of knowledge they offer all of their fellow campers.

Based just outside of Malaga your holiday can start as soon as you reach the airport or train station, with a free transfer in the owner’s  campervan if you book ahead. Ask them for ideas for road trips, places to camp, eat and visit  - you won’t be disappointed.

All of the 8 vans available to hire are wonderfully equipped for family life on the road. Basics include two double beds, a kitchen area with sink and tap, refrigerator, heating, air conditioning, cabinets, radio CD/MP3, exterior awning, and all the kitchenware you could need.

The vans are super-easy to drive and due to their size you can easily access all that Andalusia has to offer.

Kids and Parents

All the vans have two double beds and sleep either 2 adults and 2 kids in the vans with pop-up roofs, or up to 2 adults and 3 kids in the high roof vans.

Kids love the adventure of sleeping in the van and exploring new places, and the optional extras can make your family holiday a breeze. Cool boxes, car seats, high-chairs, portable potties, beach shelters, towels, baby carriers for hiking, hammocks for relaxing and junior bodyboards to keep the kids active on the beach are all available to hire.

You can also pre-order your essential supermarket items so you can hit the ground running.

Food and Drink

Whilst you’ll have everything on-board to cook up a simple family meal, the real joy of a holiday on the road is exploring the local restaurants, cafes and beach bars. Fresh fish and scrumptious seafood is a must along the beautiful coastline, take your time over some tasty tapas in the towns, or refresh yourself after a day strolling around the hills and villages with some wonderful fresh Gazpacho, or even “Ajoblanco “ - a local soup of bread, almonds and garlic.

And don’t forget you are in sherry territory. The town of Jerez could easily be happened upon, or if the unfortified type of wine is more to your taste then there are numerous excellent vineyards and wineries to tour (and maybe sample some produce!).

Best bits

Andalusia is packed with awesome sights and activities - the only limit is your imagination. Here are just a few ideas:

Take a cultural trip to the Alhambra at Granada. Wander the halls with intricate ceilings and stunning Moorish architecture, or stroll along fountain adorned pools on the patios. This is a magical place you will never forget.

Plan in adrenaline-fuelled days out zip- wiring through the forest, kite-surfing, windsurfing, horse riding or diving.

Head to Tarifa - the heart of van culture in Andalusia- for great climbing and pristine beaches. Camp opposite one of the best beaches in the area at  Campsite Valdevaqueros.

For safe family fun on the water, try the river gorges around Marbella, including the Rio Guadalmina that runs through Benahavis.

Discover the delightful ‘pueblos blancos’  (white villages) of the Serranía de Ronda. There’s some great wine tasting to be done too at Finca Descalzos Viejos amongst other great vineyards.

If you need a break from driving then make a beeline for the historic thermal spa village of Carratraca.

Take a trip to Ronda and explore the old town and the oldest bullring in Spain.

Children will love the Granada Science Park with planetarium, Observatory and loads of activities.

With beautiful coastline, 24 Nature Parks, 9 Biosphere Reserves, 2 National Parks, and the cities of Seville, Malaga, Cadiz, Cordoba and Granada to explore there really is something for everyone.
