About Glampotel Bere Regis
Glampotel promotes glamorous camping at its finest, with a small collection of luxury canvas tents a short drive from the Dorest coast. Experience the best of the outdoors coupled with all the facilities needed to self-cater, along with boutique hotel-inspired touches and including a private en-suite bathroom for each canvas tent. Each beautiful canvas rural dwelling that typically sleeps a family of five, features hardwood floors, bespoke handmade wood furniture, wood burning stove, and well-equipped kitchenette. The en-suite bathrooms have composting toilet, a sink with hot and cold running water and an instant hot shower complete with complimentary organic shower soap and body wash. You’ll easily part the children from their electronic gadgets with evenings spent around the campfire or wood burning stove, and days on the beach or foraging in the woods.
Set amidst the rural splendour of Dorset, this campsite is perfect for families who enjoy the countryside, but still want to be a short drive away from the wonderful Dorset beaches. Glampotel Bere Regis is located both in its own large secluded glade and an elevated open spot within the award winning Rowlands Wait Camping and Touring Park. You are welcome to use all the facilities the campsite provides, including laundry facilities and the small onsite shop, which stocks all the provisions you need plus daily supplies of newspapers, fresh milk, eggs and bread. There are six canvas tents located in the meadow, sheltered against the elements by the trees. Sure, there’s no electricity… so no handy place to charge electronic gadgets we become so reliant on and every opportunity to remember what it’s like to sit down and have a conversation with your family.
The tents are very similar in design to Bell Tents and are raised off the ground on wooden decking platforms which provide a spacious outdoor area in which to relax and enjoy alfresco mealtimes around the modern gas barbeque. Inside the tents you will marvel at the homely interior with the striking king sized bed taking center stage dressed with with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, soft cushions, and fluffy white towels. For the children, you’ll find their ready-inflated airbeds and sleeping bags behind your bed, and extra chairs underneath. Up to three single airbeds can be provided so that a family of five can enjoy the glamping experience. All utensils and cutlery are provided, including a kettle and cafetiere, as well as an electric cool box to keep your food and drinks nicely chilled your entire stay. Should the weather turn chilly the wood burning stove will keep the interior toasty and warm
There’s no need to traipse across the field in the dead of the night for those pesky loo breaks as at the rear of the tents you have your own en-suite facilities. The bathrooms have a composting toilet, a sink with hot and cold running water and an instant hot shower complete with complimentary organic shower soap and body wash.
