If you are looking for a complete 'away from it all experience', with the comforts of little luxuries, Hedgehog Hall is for you. Accessed from a mile long private stone track, surrounded by arable farmland, boundaries of river and a pond full of dragon flies with accommodation nestled between trees then Hedgehog Hall is for you. There is a plethora of wildlife, for which the owner has created fun activities for the children.
Accommodation and Facilities
At Hedgehog Hall you will find it all; a luxury, bespoke pod which is fully insulated and has a cosy woodburner. A large double bed (easily converting to table and chairs), bunk beds with portholes. Outside you will find a woodburning hot tub, custom made outdoor kitchen, the infamous Wee-d House - Bridget's very own design of a raised compost toilet underneath a willow tree, an outdoor shower which is a gas/battery powered system with stone stream showerhead (purifies water and reduces chlorine), a sheltered den for total chill out time, Kadai fireball with an abundance of accessories, and of course, extra large marshmallows. It's the added extras that make a holiday special, such as the scrumptious locally sourced welcome hamper which awaits on your arrival.
Bridget has already planned your stay; an OS map lies waiting for you at Hedgehog Hall with a wide range of activities for all the family, ensuring a famously good time in the beautiful county of Herefordshire. Hedgehog Hall is surrounded by farmland, so sometimes machinery will be working and Bridget has activities so the children understand what is growing and what the machinery (making wheat, animal feed, making bread and baking) is used for. Please note that parents are responsible for their children on the water courses.
Children also love watching the planes fly over Hedgehog Hall from the nearby airfield.
Hedgehog Hall is the inaugural accommodation for owner Bridget Vaughan who is married to arable and potato farmer James. They not only value the beautiful location that they have been blessed to live in but with two boys, know the key ingredients needed to make a great break for the family.
