Only just over an hour from London, Camber Sands in East Sussex is close enough to be accessible, yet far enough to be different. It is the perfect place for a family getaway and The Warrens offers the perfect venue! Nestled at the foot of the dunes, The Warrens is a beautifully presented 4 star, 4 bedroom self catering cottage on a single level and so perfect for babies, toddlers and all adults alike! This lovely seaside retreat is ideally located for taking long winter walks along the Sands, or playing with a bucket and spade in the summer months! Camber is also a superb site for kite surfing – for the more adventurous!
Nestled at the foot of the famous dunes in Camber ‘The Warrens', is a perfect seaside retreat. Recently renovated to a very high standard, it boasts spacious and very comfortable living. The accommodation is all on one level, with vaulted ceilings in the lounge and a superb back garden for barbeques.
The Warrens provides versatile accommodation for up to eight people through four bedrooms; each bedroom is fitted with zip and link beds to make the accommodation as flexible as possible. There are two bathrooms, one fitted with a roll top bath, and the other with a drencher shower. The shower room is a wet room making it more accessible for those less mobile.
The comfortable lounge is equipped with hifi, TV, a PS2/ DVD player and ‘Sky+' and a payphone. The large kitchen houses a dining table to seat eight people as well as a high chair. The kitchen is well equipped enough for any cook with a large American-style fridge freezer with handy ice maker incorporated, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A full linen service is provided with fluffy white towels for the bath, as well as beach towels, bath mats, non-slip mats and tea towels.
In the secure south-facing decked garden sun-loungers are provided, as well as lounge seating under the shaded pergola. There is a barbeque, dining table and chairs as well as low level lighting to extend the long afternoons into a relaxing evening.
Camber is perfect for a good old British seaside holiday and is superbly located to enjoy many of the finest attractions the South East has to offer - the Cinque Ports, Historic Market towns, Castles, caves to name but a few. It also offers a gateway to Europe due to its proximity to not only the ‘Eurotunnel' terminal at Folkstone, the Port at Dover and ‘Le Touquet' is just a quick hop-over by air.
Try kite surfing off Camber beach, bird watching at Rye Harbour and Dungeness or just enjoy the beautiful, beautiful seaside and marshland walks. There are a host of family days out, steam railways, the list is endless...
