By road

Less than two hours from Bristol via the M5. Three from Birmingham, or just over four from London – it’s well worth the drive.

By rail

Starcross Train Station is 1.5 miles from Cofton and is a stop of the Great Western Railway line from Exeter to Penzance.

By air

The nearest airport is Exeter, only a 30 minute drive.

We’re a family run business that has been established for over forty years, so we’ve been there and done it all with our own kids! We know where to find the best beaches, cycle paths and nature trails (they are only down the road after all.)

  • Dawlish Warren Blue Flag beach is a short walk from Cofton. It was recently the beneficiary of recent upgrades to the shoreline and nature reserve.

  • Amelia's Pantry is an award-nominated cafe, based here at Cofton. The emphasis is on local produce and fresh flavours. From coffee & cake to delicious meals!

  • Babbacombe Cliff Railway is only 30 minutes away and offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK. Soak up amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere.

  • Canonteign Falls is England’s highest man-made waterfall. They’re a sight to behold and well worth a visit.

  • Paignton Zoo have special walks, trails and appearances by Cuba the Croc mascot for kids of all ages.
