Where is it and how do you get there?

By rail

The nearest train stations are Whimple, Exeter St David’s and Honiton.

By road

Cuckoo Down Farm is less than 30 minutes from Exeter, and just 10 minutes from the M5.

By air

Exeter Airport is a 15 minute drive from the farm.

Cuckoo Down Farm is part of our family farm in east Devon. We have six children ourselves so we know a thing or two about what makes a family holiday fun and relaxing for everyone. We’ve been welcoming guests to Cuckoo Down Farm for 11 years, many come again and again.

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Head to Exmouth beach where there’s 2 miles of golden sand to explore, plus rock pools and donkey rides.

  • Treat the kids’ to a day of rides, attractions, live shows and the zoo at Crealy Adventure Park.

  • Tuck in to some gourmet fish and chips and sustainable seafood at Rockfish Exmouth.

  • Sidmouth Beach is only 20 minutes away and is a great place to try paddle boarding.

  • Explore the stunning grounds and children’s play areas of Bicton Park.
