Rooms are aplenty at Howgills House, all fitted with ensuites and exuding the appeal of a classic countryside retreat. There are five bedrooms on the ground floor, two on the left wing off the dining room and three rooms on the right wing off the main lounge. Upstairs, there are a further eight bedrooms. The rooms can sleep up to 28 guests with a total of 24 beds plus two sofa beds which are suitable for children, and cots that can be made available upon request.
The ground floor also comprises two large living rooms that offer a soothing backdrop for your holiday adventures. With an open wood fire, interconnecting glass doors, and wonderful views of the landscape, it’s the perfect place to get together. Upstairs, you’ll find a similarly cosy Library Room, providing a snug nook to pore over a good book or have some downtime. Stone accents, soft muted furnishings, and wooden features give Howgills House a warm country feel that's in keeping with its rural, countryside surroundings…it’s truly a home away from home.
There is no end of exploration at Howgills House with copious amounts of space to roam and revel in. Outside you’ll find a grassy terrace for socialising, two undercover hot tubs and ‘Howgrills,’ the ultimate outdoor dining space with a barbecue, pizza oven, and picnic benches. There is also a games hut kitted out with a pool table and dart board for all-round entertainment. Be sure not to miss out on the drinks fridge in the den, fitted for your pleasure so you can keep the wine flowing and the beers coming cool. When the night draws in, watch as a celestial spectacle unfolds before you in the clear, unpolluted skies.
