We are third generation family farmers, dedicated to improving our square mile.  We have planted thousands of trees, created several small ponds and landscaped the grounds around the hamlet of Luccombe. It is through the nurturing of the land and the renovation of the many Georgian buildings, that our bond with Luccombe has become so strong.

Owner recommendations

  • Go hunting for fossils on the stunning Jurassic Coast!

  • Visit the Dorset Trailway, an old railway perfect for buggies and balance bikes.

  • Head to Studland Beach, a gorgeous four mile stretch of golden sand backed by heathland on the beautiful Isle of Purbeck. The beach gently shelves away and the water is ideal for sand castle building and swimming. Knoll Beach has a cafe and facilities (and two saunas!)

  • Visit the historic market town of Wareham, one of the few remaining Saxon walled towns in the UK. Take a walk around the Wareham Walls or rent a boat from Wareham Boat Hire and float upstream or downstream towards Poole Harbour. We love The Old Granary, a Hall & Woodhouse child-friendly pub situated on the banks of the River Frome.

  • Monkey World Rescue Centre in Wareham is a great day out and not far from the popular Tank Museum.

  • Just 11 minutes away is the renowned Langham Wine Estate which produces award winning sparkling wine from their own grapes. The estate offers various types of tours and has a tasting room, shop and cafe on site. Nestled amongst the rolling hills of rural Dorset, it really is a special place to visit.

  • The Swanage Railway steam train that connects Corfe to Swanage is a wonderful day out and why not combine it with a trip to the iconic castle? Children also love the Corfe Castle Model Village which is a 1/20th scale model of Corfe Castle and the village as it was in 1646.

  • The seaside town of Weymouth is a fun day out, famous for its award-winning sandy beach located at the heart of the Jurassic Coastline. The Sea Life Centre is also worth a visit.
