Away with the Kids is always on the look-out for fabulous places to go on holiday and we were delighted when we stayed at Newhouse Farm - it is ideal for all sizes of gatherings but perfect for a multi-generational holiday, as the spacious social areas offer the right balance of activities and relaxation to appeal to everyone. A huge positive of this cottage complex is that you will never feel cooped up together, because it has bags of outdoor space and endless facilities that everyone can choose to eat and socialise together or do their own thing.
Choose from nine very individual cottages each beautifully and very tastefully furnished, equipped with everything you would need; a real home from home. All the cottages at Newhouse Farm were formerly farm buildings, some in the traditional courtyard setting. Light and airy, with plenty of space, they have been thoughtfully converted, furnished and equipped to a high standard to create comfortable accommodation with all the modern facilities you would expect to find.
The Linhay is a very spacious three bed barn conversion which has been designed to be fully wheelchair accessible and has en-suite wet rooms and with plenty of room to relax in.
Elm Barn is the largest of the cottages (a five bedroom property) and has the wow factor with a stunning galleried entrance hall which lets natural light flood in, feature beamed ceilings, a wood burning stove and French doors leading out onto a private courtyard.
Beech, Larch and Cedar all share a spacious patio area decked with garden furniture perfect which is the perfect spot to enjoy a barmy summer evening around a barbeque.
Oak, Willow and Rowan share an underground corridor that kids will love, linking the cottages together - perfect for group getaways. Elm, Trotters and Linhay have private outdoor areas with BBQs, whilst the others share a traditional courtyard with benches and BBQ.
