Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • We love The Lost Gardens of Heligan – over 300 acres of magical gardens and estate to explore.

  • Pentewan has over half a mile of east-facing sandy beach. This is a great beach for swimming, surfing, windsurfing and canoeing.

  • Book tickets for the renowned Minnack Theatre. Built in the 1920s by theatrical visionary Rowena Wade, you can watch a play with a breathtaking sea view backdrop.

  • Famous St Ives is well worth a day trip. Art lovers can visit the Tate St Ives, hundreds of small independent galleries and get inspired in a place many other artists have.
