Tenuta Regina lies in the middle of a WWF natural reserve in the Marano lagoon at the mouth of the River Stella and provides a peaceful retreat for families and their furry companions. Nestled in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia and situated just a few kilometers from the town center, the estate is located in a great position between two must visits; Venice and Trieste.
On site there is plenty to keep your children happy - three biopools, one especially for the little ones and a swimming pool, ping pong table, table football and a selection of old style children's games are available, so there’s plenty of fun to be had on site. The farmhouse hosts a Relax Room with a TV, a Honesty Bar, a panoramic terrace to relax on, a meditation area and yoga stations too. Bikes can be rented for both adults and children alike and there's a bowling green for anyone that wants to try their hand.
Accommodation comprises 8 apartments of varying sizes and 20 luxury lodges for a luxury glamping experience to choose from. The chalet-style glamping lodges will feel like a forest retreat and offer plenty of space for families. Gone are the days of cramped campsites as the eco-design glamping tents sit on their own spacious pitch and offer 40 square metres of space. Sleeping up to five people, the glamping huts have a small kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, a covered terrace, and wooden furniture. Everything is made with natural materials hence the wooded interiors and furniture and cotton bedding. The kids will love the wooden bunks but there are also glamping lodges with single beds for your older kids and double beds for parents. The canopied tent ceiling will give you the authentic feeling of a camping retreat but with added comforts for family practicality.
If you prefer solid walls there are various apartments available that sleep from two to six people, with up to three bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. They offer lots of space and lovely pool views or views over the gardens. You’ll find cosy interiors, exposed-beam ceilings and traditional furnishings. Each apartment also has a balcony or patio with outdoor furniture so you can enjoy some privacy, a more well-equipped kitchen or kitchenette for added convenience, and air-conditioning.
Outdoors, both glamping lodgers and apartment guests can enjoy access to picnic areas, outdoor furniture, barbecue facilities, surrounding countryside and farmland, as well as the four pools including one suitable for young children.
The estate offers electric charging stations for cars.
