The Ancient Trails Company offers 1 night adventures combining trail walking with fabulous camping. All the camping gear is carried by friendly ponies, so you can focus on each other and make the most of the stunning surroundings. Most of the camping spots you’ll stop at allow camp fires, have compost loos and forest showers – usually cold, always outdoors, definitely fresh! There are three types of camping on offer. Choose a one or a combination of all the camp types for your trip.
Wild Glamping offers a little bit of luxury amongst the trees. Arrive at your bell tent set up for you; beds, bedding, fairy lights and bunting make it extra cosy. There are two large tents available. Or opt for wild camping in your own, or borrowed 1 and 2 men tents, pitched together in your own slice of woodland heaven. Or finally, try sleeping under the stars in hammocks hung between the trees, with a tent for storage. Each camping spot is large, at around 10 acres, so tour groups made up of multiple families can choose to camp with each other or find a quiet corner of their own.
