Accessibility

There is a purpose built disabled shower room in the electric hook up field. Wheelchair access is possible around most of the estate, although there are several cobbled areas. Assistance would be needed at the swimming pool and possibly the entertainment barn.

By rail

The nearest mainline train station is at Bodmin, about 16 miles from the campsite.

By road

The Trewan estate is reachable from the A30, then A39.

By air

The nearest airport is Newquay, only 3 miles from the campsite.

About the owners

Hill family

Mr and Mrs Hill opened the campsite in 1965 and now their son and daughters run and manage it with many members of the extended family helping out. Trewan Hall is their home.

  • Mawgan Porth is your closest sandy beach just four miles away.

  • Sample Rick Stein’s fish and chips and start the Camel Trail at nearby Padstow.

  • Do a bay a day exploring the Seven Bays from Porthcothan Bay to Trevone Bay near Padstow - just a 15 minute drive from the site.

  • For the adventurous sort, Extreme Sports Academy at Watergate Bay is just 10 minutes away.

  • Try Coasteering for the first time at St Agnes.
