About the owners

Mike & Melanie

Listed since December 2012

We live in the farmhouse next to our cottages and have been here 17 years. Our children, now 15 and 19, have grown up on the farm, and so our emphasis has always been on the child friendly aspect, even more so in recent years.

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • The Atlantic Coast's clean sandy beaches and stunning coastal footpaths are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away.

  • Country houses and gardens at Lanhydrock and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are lovely cultural days out.

  • From Trevorrick, it’s a perfectly pleasant 45 minute stroll to Padstow (about 2.25 miles), across farmland and onto the Camel Trail.

  • Home to over 60 rides, attractions, live shows and a zoo, Crealys Adventure Theme Park is a fun treat, just 10 minutes away.

  • Cycle onto the Camel Trail directly along the quiet lanes, and then head towards Padstow or Wadebridge.

  • The views over the Camel Estuary are simply gorgeous - you’ll never tire of this walk.
