Where is it and how do you get there?

By rail

Downham Market station is half an hour away. Trains run from London Kings Cross to Downham Market every hour and every half hour at certain peak times.

By road

West Lexham is approximately 30 minutes drive from Norwich along the A1065. The nearest town is Swaffham, a 15 minute drive away.

By air

Norwich International airport is a 40 minute drive from West Lexham.

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Enjoy two to three hours in the trees taking on Zip Wires, Tarzan Swings, Rope Ladders and a variety of obstacles and crossings at Go Ape.

  • Norwich Puppet Theatre is an excellent introduction to the magic of theatre with original shows, activities, workshops and masterclasses for all ages.

  • Just 10 minutes away is Castle Acre Priory, an incredible old ruin to explore, or play in the River Narr on sunny days.

  • Bewilderwood is a huge, award winning forest of family fun and outdoor adventure.

  • The Green Britain Centre is just 5.5 miles away and has some absolutely unique displays and information focused on the Big Three issues – Energy, Transport and Food.
