Andrew Graham, co-owner of Wallops Wood Cottages said: “We were delighted to win two awards last year after only 18 months and are thrilled to win for a second year running! We’ve continued to develop the business in the past 12 months, adding an extra cottage to the portfolio as well as building the offering for dog owners and accessibility.

Wallops Wood Cottages are six luxury ground-floor self-catering cottages sleeping 6-8 people, which can be booked individually or as a group (a maximum of 42 people) offer excellent accessibility and both children and pets are welcome. With underfloor heating, woodburners and individual gardens with hot tubs and stunning views from the South Downs they make for an attractive retreat whatever the season.


Wallops Wood Cottages, which have only been open since May 2014, has once again won awards at the ‪#‎BeautifulSouthAwards 2016.

Katherine Graham added: “We are also excited about the next phase in our development. We’ve just started work on 2 additional cottages to add even more flexibility to our offering to guests. There will also be an indoor swimming pool and recreation room making us a real year-round destination in the South Downs National Park.”


The cottages, rated M1, M2, M3, V1 and H1 under the National Accessible Scheme, were designed with mobility, hearing and vision impaired guests in mind but without compromising on the comfort or aesthetic appeal. Staff undertook Welcome All training, the Accessibility Statement can be downloaded and printed from the owners website and accessibility equipment is available.


Wallops Wood Cottages are members of Hampshire Fare, and guests are greeted with a pack of locally sourced produce, including a home-made cake. They can provide meals for the fridge for guests to cook, recommend local places to dine out or even arrange a personal chef.


Up to two pets are accepted in each cottage for a supplementary charge of £25 per animal to cover additional cleaning. Age-appropriate toys, equipment for children and pets are supplied, and supplementary packages can be booked including bicycle hire, babysitters and spa treatments.
