Facilities and services

From the stunning luxury cottages in the wilderness at Alladale (with the facility to order in a chef or be fully catered), to cosy rural cottages, cottages near the sea or cottages close to the mountains. The great variety of outdoor adventure opportunities will keep the most active of you busy for a couple of weeks, no problem. Take to the Highlands and explore lands with the children that are unseemingly untouched. The shores of Loch Ness and the local Nessy museum await whilst the nearby city of Inverness is an easy drive when staying at The Dairy at Daviot. The mountains of the Cairngorms are perfect for ski lessons with the kids in winter and wonderful strolls spotting eagles and ospreys through the warmer months, take the mountain railway and enjoy the stunning views, wander around glorious lakes and the beach at Loch Morlich or reach the edge of our land all the way up to John O’Groats and stay in one of the wonderful lodges at Natural Retreats. The gently rolling hills and green of the Borders are pretty with lovely towns to wander. A ferry across to Arran or any of the other beautiful islands is a perfect day out trip whilst based at Ballantrae Cottages – otherwise find your child friendly cottage scattered throughout this beautiful country and make your own adventures.
