We love Montengrand for the same reason families return year after year – and if you’re one of them, you’ll know how much Nikki and Ady put into making this place special. They’ve passed the reins to Scott and Karolina, who have taken it on with the same real passion and the same attention to everything that matters. Cold drinks and a home-cooked meal wait on arrival, fresh bread and croissants arrive each morning, and the sheep, chickens and guinea pigs are part of daily life from the moment you step outside.
The five stone gîtes have been sympathetically restored using traditional materials, with exposed beams and stone walls alongside custom-built kitchens and an eclectic mix of new and vintage furnishings. Each is different in layout and size while sharing the same considered, comfortable quality. South-facing private gardens and terraces with BBQs give every family their own outdoor space, while the shared pool, summer kitchen and bar area are just a short walk from every cottage. Baby and toddler kit is extensive and thoughtfully chosen: Stokke high chairs, cots with bedding, stair gates top and bottom, and a box of toys in each cottage. Scott and Karolina advise personally on which cottage suits your family best – a conversation well worth having before you book.
