Kids Love Yurts

Child friendly glamping, Isle of Wight – Cluster of Yurts for Family Glamping, Isle of Wight

About Kids Love Yurts

Wave goodbye to leaky tents and muddy sleeping bags and embrace a fabulous glamping adventure on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Three individually designed yurts each with magical themed interiors, en-suite shower rooms with flushing toilets make it easy as possible for families with children to camp. There is also an outdoor play area which is nature based, including mud kitchen, bug hotel and jumping beams. Kids Love Yurts is surrounded by working farms in a tranquil spot; this is a unique glamping holiday for families with young children. The yurts are located five minutes drive away from the island’s capital town Newport and just a short drive from one of the Island's award winning beaches.

The Away with the Kids review

Kids Love Yurts have created a perfect compromise between getting close to nature and allowing children to run free to giving some creature comforts of a bed and a wood stove to warm up the yurt. There are chickens to feed on site and nature based indoor craft activities for the children in the honesty shed where you can stock up on supplies for eggs, extra wood, charcoal etc.

Yurts for family Glamping

Kids Love Yurts consist of a cluster of themed yurts to inspire childrens imagination - 'Dino' Yurt, 'Enchanted Woodland Yurt', and 'Under The Sea' Yurt. With an aim to make your holiday the most child friendly and easy for parents as possible, the owners have installed electricity into each yurt, a fully functioning kitchen and an en-suite shower room with flushing toilet. These well-equipped yurts makes packing for a family a cinch. To have all facilities within your own yurt, for privacy and ease, no toilet block or separate showers across the field to walk to in the middle of the night certainly makes for a more relaxing stay with young children. The interiors of the yurts are stunning and will be a big hit with youngsters. Everything you could possibly need has been thought of with wood burners inside the yurts for cosy nights, handmade draft excluders and comfortable beds with memory foam mattresses. There is a double, two singles and bunkbeds with all bedding provided free of charge including cot sides, or a cot for the smallest visitors. The yurts are located at the top of a sloping field, raised off the ground on a wooden platform and are fully lined and insulated. Parking is about 15 metres from the yurts. Each yurt comes equipped with its own BBQ and outside eating areas.
