Located in extensive, lush green grounds, guests at Chez Charente sleep in three bedrooms. Beams span the ceilings and light floods through windows offering garden views. The master bedroom has a double and its own ensuite. There’s a tonne of flexibility in terms of beds; the second bedroom can be set up as a double or twin and the third room is a twin with space for an additional child’s bed. All the bedrooms have ample room for one of the two cots available.
A second family bathroom on the ground floor is shared by the second and third bedrooms, and has a washing machine (always useful when holidaying with kids!). Alongside the family bathroom, guests enjoy a large farmhouse kitchen with dining and lounge areas and a second, private sitting room. It’s blissfully cool in the summer, with french doors opening up onto the garden and a fabulous outdoor eating area. Al fresco meals are a must.
