There are six gîtes at La Grange du Moulin, one sleeping four people, four sleeping six and another sleeping eight. These French barns have been lovingly converted by the Wendy and Chris and offer clean and simple accommodation across two floors that is geared very much to the family in the traditional rustic French style. All have kitchens (with a dishwasher), and living and dining rooms (either separate or open plan). Each cottage has a terrace or patio area with a table and chairs, and a barbecue.
Five of the gites are equipped with open tread spiral staircases which are gated but are steep so care will be required when carrying young children or with helping toddlers up and down them. Papillon has a steep straight wooden one.
Each property contains a good selection of board games, books and children's toys, along with baby equipment should you require it, from cots, highchairs and stairgates, toddler step, booster seat, steriliser, changing mats etc. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
From the huge list of baby gear to borrow free of charge, experienced babysitting (courtesy of Wendy a registered childminder) and a day time crèche to parent-friendly touches like sociable wine tasting nights (baby monitors provided) or simply to explore the numerous sandy beaches or quaint French villages nearby, it is pretty much given that a good time will be had by all.
