Coulscott House Holiday Cottages is a unique collection of six luxury holiday cottages on an idyllic private estate. Two of the cottages are wings of the old Coulscott farmhouse, while the others are superb conversions of farm buildings set around a courtyard and the Old Barn.
Baby Equipment: Cots, bed-guards and highchairs are supplied as required. Quality wooden cots are available; though supplied with a cot sheet parents are asked to bring their own cot linen. Multiple cots are available in all of the properties.
Children’s step, toilet seat, changing mat, non-slip bath mat, steriliser, baby bath, hand blender and toddler plates and cutlery are provided in all properties and do not need to be booked.
Smart TVs are available in all cottages for you to sign in to your Apps. High quality WiFi runs through all cottages, with unlimited downloads.
The Georgian House has five bedrooms sleeping 9 people (plus cots) and with 2 bookable extra beds, a private games room and a large and superbly equipped kitchen. The two master bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. There is also a luxurious main bathroom with large shower unit and an inviting free-standing, cast-iron roll-top bath. A separate playroom or snug is an ideal TV room for the kids. There is also a larger games room where they can play table tennis and table football. An added luxury is the delightfully hot and bubbly spa bath situated on the terrace at the front of the house. A secret door in the dining room takes you through to the kitchen in the Old Farmhouse. Old Farmhouse has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people (plus cots) and 3 bathrooms. 1 super king-sized four poster room with en-suite shower room, 2 twin zip and link rooms one with en-suite shower room,1 family bathroom with bath and shower. The downstairs shower and twin bedroom offer access for those with slight mobility difficulties.
The smaller cottages Bantam, Aylesbury Cottage and Peacock Cottage are beautiful stone built cottages facing a shared triangular courtyard and the swimming pool building. All have wood-burners for year round cosiness. Aylesbury has a private hot-tub with a beautiful view on its own private terrace. Dining facilities for 10 when Peacock, Aylesbury and Bantam Cottages are let together.
Bantam Cottage - a one bedroom cottage sleeping 2 people (plus 1 cot). Downstairs is one room comprising sitting/dining area and kitchen. The staircase leads up to the bedroom with a king bed and a separate wet room. Bantam has a small cot room off the bedroom, with a wooden cot.
Adjourning Bantam is Aylesbury Cottage sleeping 4 in 2 in bedrooms (plus cots). Down stairs is the open plan kitchen/ dining area. Upstairs to the bathroom and two bedrooms. One with views with king-sized bed. The other has twin beds. Outside is a private enclosed terrace with hot tub, garden furniture, barbecue and views.
Peacock Cottage with 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people (plus cots) and one family bathroom. Downstairs is a sitting/dining area, wood burning stove, and Smart TV. A couple of steps lead up to the kitchen. A small winding staircase leads up to the landing off which are two bedrooms, one with a king size four poster bed and the other with two singles. Private garden with garden furniture and barbecue.
Each cottage has a small stash of board games and books.
