East Thorne Cottages

You'll think three things as soon as you bowl up at East Thorne Cottages: good taste, good people and good vibes. Mainly down to the owners Naomi and Adam who have gone above and beyond to make sure that their holiday accommodation is as well loved by you as it clearly is to them - East Thorne is a new venture and one they have thrown themselves into heartily. You'll be glad that they did! The four newly refurbished cottages, each sleeping up to six, are contemporary have an outdoor courtyard, seating and barbeque area and freedom of all the East Thorne extras . The cottages are just a 5 min trip away from the fab beaches of Bude.

The fantastically child-friendly East Thorne is a fabulous base to explore the joys of Cornwall. Naomi and Adam have provided four newly refurbished cottages, each sleeping up to six, with cosy and contemporary interiors and a safe outdoors space for you all to enjoy. The cottages are just a 5 min trip away from the fab beaches of Bude.

Accommodation

There are no short corners; the fantastic cottages, which sleep up to 6, are beautifully decorated with simple uncluttered interiors to cosy up in after a mad day out or a chilled day around East Thorne. The log burning stoves make sure the cottages are welcoming throughout the year - the solid wood floors, leather sofas, comfortable beds with good quality linen and spotless bathrooms ensure you have a relaxed time. All kitchens are fully equipped for an easy self-catering stay. Bedrooms comprise one double room and a twin upstairs, with occasional beds provided if required. Cots are available on request, as are high chairs.

Facilities

Outdoors you have a garden with a bbq area and outdoor dining furniture. And of course the fantastic communal areas. This is a car free zone so the kids are free to explore and play. The games room provides a chill out space if the weather closes in and the kids want their own space; the adventure playground area provides outdoor entertainment.

For clear nights you might share some time around the communal campfire whilst the kids get on and mingle with their new neighbours.

Food deliveries may be arranged prior to your arrival, as well as alcohol ones - a nice chilled bottle after a long journey would be most welcome I'm sure - sometimes I'm in danger of sounding a lush! The local farm shop will provide all you need for a cooked breakfast to keep you going til tea - anything else will arrive sourced by your hosts.

To Do

You're in Cornwall so there is heaps - be it a beach with surf and sand, pub lunches, fine meals, exhiliarating - or gentle - walks, cycle rides, horse-riding and any kind of water sport you might wish to enjoy. There is a huge variety of activites to choose from and Namoi and Adam will know where to send you whatever you fancy doing.
