About the owners

Judith & Peter

The Nancarrow family have been welcoming guests to discover Poltarrow for nearly 40 years. Cornish born and bred, we purchased Poltarrow in 1982 and brought up our children here - who now work at the farm - whilst establishing the holiday business. At Poltarrow we live and breathe Family Friendly and lots of what we do is aimed at making sure that EVERY family member is happy.

  • Young and young at heart train enthusiasts will love Lappa Valley.

  • For an autumn walk you can't beat Golitha Falls.

  • Grab your pots and head to Mevagissey for the best crabbing.

  • Embrace the freedom of The Lost Gardens of Heligan, again just 15 minutes from Poltarrow.

  • Take a trip to Charlestown to explore some familiar Poldark places.

  • Pack up a picnic and go for a day out on the beach: Porthpean is perfect for rock pooling, and Watergate Bay is a wave watchers paradise.

  • St Ives can be reached by train and is an art lovers dream - get hands-on at the Tate or explore the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.
