There are 21 luxury lodges to choose from at Brompton Lakes, all framing wonderful uninterrupted views of the lake and each with its own unique design courtesy of interior designer, Rosie Mennam. Spacious, stylish, open-plan living areas are made cosy with log-burning stoves, colorful sofas, and scandi-style interiors. Wraparound floor-to-ceiling glass-sliding doors offer panoramic views and access to the private terraces with outdoor furniture make for the perfect morning coffee spot.
Sleeping from 4-12 people, however big your family, there’s a lodge for you at the lake. Lola is the smallest lodge ideal for a family of four, it also has step-free access perfect for prams or wheelchairs. The south-facing lodge boasts great light through the day with open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area to bring the family together. There are two sizeable bedrooms with king-size beds that can be set up as twin beds, one of which has an ensuite with a bath. 19 of the lodges can sleep up to six guests, all set on their own spot of the lake for a unique view of the landscape. Many are dog-friendly too including Finley, Florence, Charlie, Percy, and Juniper. All of the lodges have three bedrooms with super-king or double beds that can be reconfigured as twin rooms. The master bedrooms in each lodge have an ensuite plus there’s an extra family bathroom. Enjoy spending quality time with the kids thanks to large open-plan living. You can settle down at the dining table by the window and take in the glorious views, cosy up around the log burner and switch on the smart TV for a movie night, or gather for some games around the kitchen island - the welcoming and versatile spaces will work around your holiday.
Planning a big family break? No need to book multiple cottages as there’s a new lodge on the block… Twenty One is a spacious luxury lodge sleeping up to 12 guests. It’s the largest of the lodges and ideal if you’re looking for a stylish group getaway. Its large living areas mean there’s no squeezing onto sofas and the kitchen dining area is perfect for entertaining - you can even make use of Brompton’s private catering partners! The outdoor spaces don’t fall short on luxury either with your very own mini spa on the back patio. Enjoy access to a hot tub, sauna, and a Scandinavian style barbecue house. You can also enjoy lakeside views on the south-facing terrace at the front with plenty of comfy outdoor seating to soak up the sun.
