The Old Stable is all on one level. The other apartments are all on one level however have stepped access.

Where is it and how do you get there?

By air

Southampton and Bournemouth are the nearest commercial airports.

By rail

Shanklin Station is less than a mile away with a service to and from Ryde Pier head every 30 mins

By road

There are car ferry crossings from Portsmouth, Lymington & Southampton. Lyon Court is less than a half hour drive from the main ferry ports on the island.

We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We live at Lyon Court, so will be there to welcome you and bid you farewell. If you have any issues during your stay, we are available and happy to assist. Other than that, we try to keep out of your way so that you can enjoy your stay, without feeling overlooked.

  • Blackgang Chine, the Island's premier theme park, is a great day out.

  • Head to Bembridge Lane End beach for rock pooling and shrimping.

  • Being an island there are plenty of family friendly beaches to enjoy – try Small Hope Beach at Shanklin.

  • Board a vintage steam locomotive for a special journey on the Isle Of Wight Steam Railway.

  • Animal lovers will enjoy a trip to Monkey Haven – a primate rescue centre that also has lots of other exoctic creatures to visit.
