Rooms

Enjoy the luxury of space at the heathland site of Roundhill, near the southern edge of the National Park. Surrounded by dense woodlands, the site is perfect for a relaxed family holiday with plenty of space for children to play. There is no electricity on the site, but there are toilet and shower blocks and washing-up facilities. For bigger groups, there is a separate rally field that can cater for up to 80 people.

Eat

Near Roundhill Campsite, you'll find plenty of dining options to enjoy. The nearby village of Beaulieu offers charming cafes and restaurants, including the Beaulieu Tea Rooms and The Montagu Arms Hotel, serving delicious local dishes. Brockenhurst, just a short drive away, has a variety of pubs, such as The Snakecatcher and The Foresters Arms, offering traditional pub fare. For a more casual option, try one of the local takeaway spots or visit a nearby farm shop for fresh, local produce. Or simply enjoy a BBQ at your pitch! Just a friendly reminder, please no fire pits or disposable barbecues.

For those who want to explore the forest from a different perspective, horse riding is a popular activity, with nearby stables offering guided rides through the forest. Alternatively, take a trip on the New Forest Tour Bus, a great way to see the stunning landscapes and picturesque villages of the New Forest without the hassle of driving. The bus stops at key attractions, making it an easy and relaxing way to explore the area while learning about its rich history and wildlife.

Where is it and how do you get there?

By Road

From Lyndhurst take the A337 towards Lymington.

Turn left at Brockenhurst on to the B3055 (towards Beaulieu).

After approximately 2 miles turn right into the site.

By Rail

South West trains:

Brockenhurst is on the Weymouth to London- Waterloo mainline with over 100 trains a day stopping at the station.

Places to visit on this line include Winchester/Christchurch/Bournemouth and Poole.

There is also a service to Lymington town and pier every 30 minutes, ideal for day trips to the Isle of Wight
