There is a fine range of traditional agricultural buildings beautifully converted into perfect family holiday homes, sleeping up to eight guests, or more if you book multiple barns together. They all possess a unique character, rich in the history of their previous uses (like original stall partitions in the Brick House!). The Brick Barn and the Long Barn both boast fabulous double height living spaces, with exposed timber beams and plenty of light. They sleep up to eight and six guests respectively in characterful, warm bedrooms. Extra children or adults, with a penchant for heights and adventure, can be accommodated in the sleeping lofts above the bedrooms of both barns. The Hayloft sleeps up to eight, and has an upside down layout which means expansive views over the farm and fruit trees are enjoyed from the open plan, vaulted ceiling kitchen-living room. The large double ended copper bath is a lovely treat – making it almost impossible not to relax whilst away.
The Old Stables has a very contemporary feel, with mod-cons and bright, chic spaces. It sleeps up to eight guests in a double room, twin or double room and a very fun bunk room with bunk beds for four kids. And finally, the Grain Loft which sleeps up to eight guests in a brilliant barn above the nursery stable. Peak through a walk-on window into the stable below to spot freshly hatched chicks, goslings, Swiss Valais lambs or Boer kids (depending on the season!). There are two gorgeous double rooms, and leading off one of those…a four-bed dorm with extremely comfortable hay mattresses. Ideal for fun sleepovers for little ones. All the barns come with Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy towels, travel cots, highchairs, a hairdryer and a relaxed, special atmosphere. Laundry facilities are also included with rental. With 40 beds (plus extra sleeping lofts) across the five units, larger groups are welcome to experience this wonderful family farm together.
