The cottages share a warm, welcoming feel with traditional Lakeland stone exteriors, soft neutral interiors and plenty of natural light. The décor is comfortable and unfussy — the kind of place where you can settle in quickly. Living areas are generously sized, with plush seating, wood burners and space for toys, books or relaxed film nights. Each has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a private garden, offering space for play and outdoor meals. Both cottages are dog friendly and crates can be supplied on request, making it easy to bring pets along.
Cottage One
Cottage One is a traditional stone three-bedroom cottage sleeping six, with far-reaching views of the surrounding fells. Bedrooms include two doubles and one twin, all bright and simple. It has a family bathroom and a separate shower room, giving everyone enough space to get ready for the day.
Downstairs, spacious living and dining areas make family time easy. The large conservatory is a standout — bright, calm and overlooking the garden. It’s ideal for morning coffee, quiet reading or a glass of wine after the kids are asleep. It connects to a games room with table football and air hockey, giving children and teens their own place to unwind.
Outside there's a private garden with outdoor seating and a hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars after lake or fell adventures.
Cottage Three
Cottage Three also sleeps six, but has a different layout. A large kitchen and dining area sits at the centre of the cottage, making mealtimes relaxed and sociable. Upstairs, an open-plan living room offers light-filled views over the greenery, with period features adding gentle charm.
The cottage has three generously sized double bedrooms and three bathrooms — two en-suite and one family bathroom — keeping mornings smooth even with a full group. A private cottage garden completes the picture, offering space for outdoor meals and play.
Each cottage has a parking space for one car, but additional parking is available nearby.
