About the owners

Listed since January 2015

Tregenna Castle started off humbly as a private home for a man with a love of the seaside. Over 240 years later and it’s a 72 acre estate with 84 bedrooms. The castle has come a long way but the building’s charm and views will never change.

Owner recommendations

  • Walk just 20 minutes for local art, culture and gorgeous Cornish ice cream at St Ives town and harbour.

  • Surf’s up in Blue Flag Porthmeor beach, ideal for families with its almost half a mile of sand and calmer sea.

  • Take in the breathtaking, world famous cliff top open air theatre of Minack in Penzance.

  • Hire a beach hut for day at small but perfectly formed Porthgwidden.

  • Spend the afternoon at one of the finest beaches in the world, Carbis Bay, just outside town.

  • Get the obligatory Land’s End snapshot, only 45 minutes drive away.

  • Step into Poldark’s world at the tin mine near Helston.
