There are some wheelchair accessible rooms and there is an elevator close to the main Reception area for access to rooms on upper floors.

Where is it and how do you get there?

By air

The hotel is 22 miles away from Newquay airport, taking just over an hour to drive or taxi.

By rail

St Ives train station is located above Porthminster beach. You can walk up from the station to the resort in about 20 minutes. A taxi will cost about £6 and takes around five minutes.

By road

Tregenna Castle is reached off Treloyhan Avenue A3074 via the A30. Enter through the main gate then down a majestic driveway and along a stunning approach, from which the Hotel almost explodes into sight.

Tregenna Castle started off humbly as a private home for a man with a love of the seaside. Over 240 years later and it’s a 72 acre estate with 84 bedrooms. The castle has come a long way but the building’s charm and views will never change.

  • Walk just 20 minutes for local art, culture and gorgeous Cornish ice cream at St Ives town and harbour.

  • Surf’s up in Blue Flag Porthmeor beach, ideal for families with its almost half a mile of sand and calmer sea.

  • Take in the breathtaking, world famous cliff top open air theatre of Minack in Penzance.

  • Meander through the woodland walk and find yourself not far from Porthminster beach.

  • Spend the afternoon at one of the finest beaches in the world, Carbis Bay, just outside town.

  • Get the obligatory Land’s End snapshot, only 45 minutes drive away.

  • Step into Poldark’s world at the tin mine near Helston.
