The bright rooms are all decorated in a calming, contemporary beach-house style; some have sea views (the very best from the luxury of a roll-top bath). Family suites can sleep up to six people (including a cot) and benefit from a separate bunk room. In addition, there’s also a number of two-bedroom apartments, which boast floor-to-ceiling windows, a veranda and a dining and kitchen area. Plus, you can still make use of the hotel’s facilities.

All rooms have an en-suite bathrooms, some have balconies overlooking the bay and some are interconnecting to provide flexible accommodation.

Each room is unique, many with beautiful solid oak floors and some are dual aspect.

Every room has WiFi, TV and Ruark Audio, tea & coffee facilities, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, telephone, and 24 hour room service. Land & Water products are available to use in every room.

Eat

There are three different places to eat, each with a completely different take on great, local and seasonal produce.

At Zacry's on the sea wall experience elegant horizon-view dining, alive with local hero ingredients all imaginatively showcased by our passionate teams.

The Living Space boasts fabulous sea views that can be enjoyed over a relaxed menu of sharing boards, sandwiches and coffee.

The Beach Hut blends considered food, carefree beachside dining, and a warm welcome. Combining classic favourites with a 50% plant-based menu for a sustainable take on the post-surf refuel. The famous Extreme Hot Chocolate's are not to be missed.

Staff are happy to puree any of the freshly prepared food for your baby.

A secure parents' kitchen with microwave, washing up facilities and fridge is available at all times and cots and high chairs are supplied.

Activities

The Kids’ Zone runs to a different theme each week – such as “sea life” or “Wild West” – and offers a range of activities, including puppet shows, messy play and beach time. Older kids (aged 8–12) can use the XA Club, which includes team games, a games’ room with a PlayStation and table football, and evening films during school holidays.

The infinity pool is a highlight for most guests, not least for its coastal views; the Swim Club also has an outdoor hot tub and sauna, plus treatment rooms. For young children there is a shallow area attached to the main pool. Access to the pool is via graded steps.

All Wavehunters instructors are CRB checked, fully qualified and Lifeguards. Lessons are available for children 8 years and over. Equipment is available to hire.

No visit to Cornwall is complete without a surf lesson, you can sign up with at the hotels own surf school.
The beautiful Eden Project isn't far away and well worth a visit. Great if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Make sure you leave extra time for breakfast, once you start admiring the view it can be hard to leave!
If you can’t get enough of beaches, head four miles north to Bedruthan Steps; this hidden beach is especially beautiful.
The charming fishing port of Padstow is just 11 miles away; head here for some of the region’s freshest and best seafood.
Take to two wheels to explore the Camel Trail and Cardinham Woods, perfect for a family adventure through beautiful woodland and countryside.
