About this place

Best bits

  • The hotel’s two-mile, privately owned sandy beach is perfect for both getting out in the elements or more simple relaxation.
  • The children will love the on-site Kids’ Zone.
  • The indoor infinity pool looks out over the Atlantic Sea – it’s great for swimming, too, if you can drag yourself away from the view.

Top tips

  • Bring buckets and spades
  • Try to get a sea view room, you won't regret it.
  • The breakfast room can be busy but let the kids drag you down at 7:30 for your pick of the tables

Owner recommendations

  • No visit to Cornwall is complete without a surf lesson, you can sign up with at the hotels own surf school.

  • The beautiful Eden Project isn't far away and well worth a visit. Great if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

  • Make sure you leave extra time for breakfast, once you start admiring the view it can be hard to leave!

  • If you can’t get enough of beaches, head four miles north to Bedruthan Steps; this hidden beach is especially beautiful.

  • The charming fishing port of Padstow is just 11 miles away; head here for some of the region’s freshest and best seafood.

  • Take to two wheels to explore the Camel Trail and Cardinham Woods, perfect for a family adventure through beautiful woodland and countryside.
